Wonderous Weekend

WELCOME!

So I woke up feeling happy because it was Friday and stuff. So I went to school and when i got out of school, Kris asked me if i wanted to walk home, so i said sure why not. As we were walking home we kinda hung out with Maddie for like 15 mins. We went to go and visit the Middle School (how i miss that place!). Then when Kris and I went to Mrs. Sprunger's room she just took out a box of cookies and let us have the rest, boy she was prepared! After that we then went home. As we were walking home we saw Larry. He was at Alpine Falls buying something or whatever. So after that we kept telling jokes about this and that, boy it was hillarious! I can't wait til tomorrow when we go to Ball State to see AC get beat! Go Starfires and to hang out with friends!

Have A Great Weekend!

Fall 2010

WELCOME!

So it looks like it's Fall already! The leaves are turning different colors. Orange, red and brown, the sounds of crunch when raking the leaves, the smell of pumpkin pie in the afternoons, the walks around the park with the breeze coming towards your face, yes it's time for fall again! So today since i had marching band this morning, i decided to take my bike to school, it was still dark out but o well. Then after school i headed back home. Kevin and I then went on a bike ride around town, we went to Kris', "snob hill", out by 000, to the school and back home again. As I was passing by this Swiss Town of mines, i could hear the sound of the Swiss music playing from The Gathering House, the smell of the food, and the sights that nature has to offer! This has truly been a great day! So if you have nothing better to do, go for a walk, a jog or a run it's easy and inexpensive!

Have A Great Day!

Realizing.....

WELCOME!

Today has been a very productive, yet tiring day! I went to bed at about 11pm last night and woke up at about 7:45 this morning to get ready for church. As I was getting ready for church i thought about something. I thought about how my life would look like in 15 years. I asked "will I be a priest at my own parish preaching Mass around this time?" or "am I going to be waking up my kids in the morning getting them ready to go to church?" The questions answer are hard to find. We'll just have to wait. Then on the car ride to church i thought why would i even have kids? I mean i'm not going to get married or anything. I can't get a girlfriend now so what made me think that i will ever get a wife?

So when I got to church, said my morning prayers are as I do every Sunday, and waited for the Mass to begin. So during the homily, i thought to myself again, what would happen in 15 years?, then I realized, i want to become a priest. I want to tell people the good news of the Lord. I want to preach the good news of the Lord. I want to be able to be called "Father". Then again I thought ... everyone hates me who would want to listen to me? As i sat their listening to the homily for about 20 minutes i thought hmm.. what will really happen to me? So then it was over and Mass and everything and so i stayed in the church (since Michelle and Fatima had Sunday School) and prayed. Prayed for World Peace, prayed for the end of stem cell research, prayed for the government and everything!

Then when I got home i finally made up my mind. No more checking out girls, no more liking girls- since i can't get any. I simply said to myself "enough is enough". I realized what i will simply do is just look and smile.

Hope you had a great day!

Hail Purdue!

WELCOME!

So today has probably been one of the best Saturdays ever! Started the day by waking up at around quarter til 4 because I had to get ready. After i got ready at around 4:20 or so my dad took me to school. At school went to the band room, packed the bass drum and loaded the bus. We were on our way to Purdue! As of course i sat by Lauren, and we talked for pretty much the whole time why everyone else was asleep. She was jamming out to Justin Beiber. Everyone started yelling at us telling us to shut up because they wanted to sleep!

We got to Purdue at about 8 or so. We unloaded and Daniel, Rain and I went with the percussion section. The band was huge! I mean the Purdue band had so much people, it was probably equivalent to the whole High School and Middle School put together. They had about 10 tuba players, 15 percussion players, about 100 horn players, i mean it was just loud! Then Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser rehearsed with us the music we had to play. After about an hour and a half of rehearsal it was over!

We then went to Slater Hill to watch the Purdue Jazz Band concert. It was a long walk to their! People took turns taking my drum. When we got their i brought 4 boxes of donuts and within 15 mins what I got in return was a thank you and 3 empty boxes! While watching the concert i talked to Anie, Sadie, and Lauren. We then watched the pep rally for the Boilers! It was so much fun!!

After the pep rally, we all went to the stadium. It was humongous! I mean literally you could like get lost in that place and not ever get found again! Once we got all settled in, Rain and I bought a pop. It was worth $7 since we had free refills for it. We watched the game til it was time for us to perform. We bug the crap out of Lauren, watched her flirt with Isaiah Amstutz. Then what do you know.. it was already time for half time! So we went out their and performed. We sounded great! I mean honestly we did for a band that had almost 30 school's present their with nearly 1,500 people we sounded great! After that we all got settled in and watch the rest of the game. Rain left cause his dad was their to pick him up. I was kinda sad cause then I had no one to hang out with.

After the game was over (did i mention Boilers won, 24- 13!), we all headed back to the bus and we were on our way back home to lovely Berne! On the bus ride back home we had so much fun! Lindsay Hoffman, Haley Bell, Lauren Lehman, Shiana Scott, Abby Grable, Shauna Sutton, Sadie Brock, Anie Habegger, Bree Caldwell and myself were all doing something random. We would sing songs just for fun! Make each other laugh! Tell silly jokes! Make fun of people! I mean really! You had to be their! We then stopped by Kokomo on our way home and ate. We had a choice of Subway, Burger King, and Arbys. I stayed at Burger King, Sadie, Lauren, Anie and I all sat at one table. We then went outside by the ice cream parlor, and some people bought ice cream. We were all sitting their laughing and having a good time!

Then we headed back home! We had like almost 2 hours left til we got back to Berne. We had such a great time! Today has been a great day! Perfect weather, enjoying a day with good friends, performing! This has been one great Saturday. Wonder what next week will bring when we go to Ball State for the SA vs. AC game? Probably something fun and memorable again!!

Hope you had a great day!

I wish....

WELCOME!

So the past two days i've had a really bad day. The insults, the drama, this and that so I just took the time to sit down thinking about everything.

I wish..

I wasn't born
I didn't have to be here
I could leave
I could change the past
I could do things differently
I was gone
I was dead

Hmmm... if only that's how life works..

Have A Great Day Everyone!

Let the "ber" months begin!

WELCOME!

So as you guys know.. September starts the "ber" months! Now.. this means.. the cold months are here! Which sucks cause then we will be having all these delays and cancelations an then we will have to make them up at the end of the school year and it takes away from our summer time! So that sucks! Anyways.. so one of the worse things about September is that towards the end ... i will be out their in my yard trying to rake up all the fallen leaves! Which is sad.. but if i didn't do it.. who will? So yeah. The positive things is that let's see here, umm.. well i don't have to mow as often so that's good. That means i'll save money on gas!

Here's a nice poem i got off the internet for fall.

"Once more the liberal year laughs out
O'er richer stores than gems or gold:
Once more with harvest song and shout
Is nature's boldest triumph told."

- John Greenleaf Whittier

Have A Great Day!
