It's officially here! As of Friday- 24/ May/ 2013... at 3:00pm Summer Vacation officially started! Too be honest, this year was probably the fastest year of my whole high school career!
This image pretty much sums up my 2012- 2013 School Year. I had so much fun this year and made tons of new friends! I was able to leave my "comfort zone" and move into phases in life where I could interact more with people and just have fun with them! Although, my biggest friendship this year was with the foreign exchange students. I am so thankful for the opportunity for me to just spend time with each and everyone of them. This school year has just been excellent! From the IGNITE party in August for the incoming freshman's and foreign exchange students to FFA National Convention and our multi-cultural meeting. From the meetings and trips to managing the girls basketball team. From the basketball team to doing the musical and from the musical to the struggles of studying for AP Exams. Most of all from the studying of the exams to the time that the foreign exchange students depart the United States.

I was very fortunate to have met Karla Rodriguez (Mexico), Pablo Tavares (Brazil), Brunna Netto (Brazil), Jasmin Thueric (Germany), Derya Atma (Germany), Dani Ripalda (Ecuador), Pati Jimenez (Spain), and Teemu Vuorinen (Findland). I had so much fun with each and everyone of them! From watching "The Great Gatsby" with Karla to going to Willshire to get ice- cream! It's memories like this that I cherish. As they start departing one- by- one, there legacy and laughter will always be in my hearts and mind! I will never forget each and everyone of the foreign exchange students! If you students are reading this right now just know- I will miss each and everyone of you! Good luck with your life! Hope to see you again in the future!

This year has simply just been amazing! Full of surprises, laughter, joy and tears! As I reflect on this 2012- 2013 school year, I can't help but just thank God for the opportunities and most of all thank everyone for being part of it and making it successful!
