Today is the Feast Day of Saint Anthony of Padua.

Since it is Wednesday, I thought that it would be a great person to talk about. Here are some insight on Saint Anthony.
He is the patron Saint of:
Lost Articles
The Poor
Amputees
Cemetery
Born: 1195 in Lisbon, Portugal
Died: 1231 in Padua, Italy (hence the Patron City)

Also known as:
Evangelical Doctor of the Holy Roman Church
Professor of Miracles
Hammer of Heretics
Saint Anthony of Padua was born into a wealthy family. He gave up his wealthy lifestyle to become a poor Franciscan Monk. I think that him and Saint Francis of Assisi are one of the famous Franciscan's.
