Wrapping It Up!

WELCOME!d

So, can you believe it! It is the last day of February! I know that I am not doing a good job on my posting about the Black History Month, but below this post I will list you some of the famous people. Now, today has been I would say a great day for me. We had a little career fair at school and the teachers did a great job giving us information about their classes! I want to take them all but I can't.

So what else do I say, well, nothing really. Yesterday the Confirmation Class went to Maria Stein for a retreat and I would have to say that it was very educational and inspiring event! Father Dave spoke to us, and we talked about Confirmation and stuff and yeah. We got back at Trinity at around 6pm exact. When I got their, dad and Michelle was already sitting their waiting so it was all good.

When I got home, I ate, took a shower and I went to bed! It has been a long day! But it was a day well spent!

Now, since Black History Month is over tomorrow, I will be starting a new column on what I like to called "Around the World in 30 Posts!" Now, it will be a game type of column. You have to guess where the landmark is located, and what it is! So with that said today's clue is

Today's clue is: I am a tall statue representing Christ. What am I? Where am I?

Tune in tomorrow to find out what and where it is!

Oh No! -- It's Back!

WELCOME!

So today has been one of the gloomiest day ever! For once, it was snowing again, which ticks me off because I couldn't see the grass anymore, that means that Spring is postponed! Anyways, today for me it has been a great day, no drama for me, and no troubles. Classes were easy, we didn't do anything much. Algebra all we did was Polynomials so it was pretty much a review from 8th Grade.

When Biology came, we talked about the test tomorrow, but since we got a two- hour delay test is postponed until Wednesday! Anyways, as I said it has been a long day and I'm ready for bed now. I'm ready to sleep in until 7am. I'm hoping we don't get anymore cancellations because that means we would have to make it up, which we already had too today.

For me, there wasn't any adventures today, but everyday is always an adventure for me! Either rain, sleet, or shine for me everyday is an adventure! Well I don't know what else too say about today other than the fact that it has been sleeting/ snowing all day and that I had to plow the driveway! O well, I hope that this is the last of it! I'm sick of it and I'm so ready for Spring! Here I come warm weather! Watch out, i'm coming!

Have A Great Day!

Can You Feel It?- I Can!

WELCOME!

So today, was a very fun and exciting day. Today was the IPFW Multicultural Field Trip or as Parr calls it "the racist trip". The field trip went by pretty smooth. I had a great time walking and visiting the facility. First we started by getting registered and stuff and then some proffessor came in and started talking for about 20 minutes. After that we started touring the facility and doing all sorts of neat things.

After that we were suppose to sign up for some sessions to attend, but Brady and I just attended whatever because we followed Kalinda, Alia and Armenta. Good thing they didn't have a list of who was suppose to be at what place or else we would have gotten in trouble. After the tour they fed us lunch! We had pizza, and pop! The pizza we had sure did beat the pizza the other kids got back at school.

After the pizza and pop, they talked about some scholarships and how we can be qualified and stuff. I as interested in the scholarships so I listened. Then after that was over, they gave us a tour of teh dorms and how they looked like. They were some neat looking dorms! I mean really, nice floors, soft beds, great paints to the wall- yup it was all ready to be moved into.

Since it was over by 1 in the afternoon. Mr. Ruppert told us that we would stop by McDonalds and grab something to eat and just chill because we didn't wanna go back to school. So we did. Mr. Ruppert talked to me about some classes for my sophmore year and I was excited. After the talk, we headed home. Now for me, IPFW is not a bad school to go to. The tuition isn't that bad, the proffessors are nice, the campus is closed and clean, however, I don't think I will attend it.

Since I'm going to be a priest when I grow up, I want to go to a Catholic School. No, I'm not being racist or anything about it, it's just that in my point of view a Catholic School would be a good school to go too. But then again Saint Francis is their too so we'll see. Now you may be wondering about the title - "Can you feel it?- I can!", i decided to title it that because during the trip, we had to walk alot. The good thing was that the grass was green again, no more snow, birds chirmping and warmer breeze! I love it! Mom says tomorrow after church and homework is finished, we can start gardening! Oh the joy of Spring!

Have A Great Weekend!

Is It True? Spring Almost Here?!?

WELCOME!

Well believe it or not, the snow is melting! Literally their is about an inch left of snow on the ground and I would say in about one more week we will probably see the green grass again! I am so ready for Spring. The flowers blooming, gardening, the smell of rain water, birds chirping and more importantly, getting down and dirty planting! Oh yeah!

So, with that said I am ready for Spring! Well what's been hapening lately in my life, their is FFA Dairy Practice after schools, and track season starts soon too. I still have to find out if I'm still manager (hope I still am!). Well that's about all. Well tomorrow is Wednesday and that means that their is Religion Class, probably the only thing I look forward too the whole day.

What else do I say? Well their is no drama, gossip and rumors so it's all good. Classes are doing well, and school is flying by. In a matter of time it's almost time for Summer Vacation! I can't wait. This year's vacation is going to be a blast. I don't know if I can do Marching Band though. I'm hoping so!

Have A Great Day!

One Year!

WELCOME!

So, I know that I didn't get to blog the past couple of days because I was having internet troubles but- it has been one year, yes one year, 132 posts about my life. Some are good, some are bad and some are just plain ridiculous! Ok- since today is Valentines Day and I didn't spend it with anyone, (I wanted to give someone something, but she would probably just throw it away) but I couldn't. O well. So today my best friend Kris and my friend Brady went to Campus Life!

Now, I was going to change my mind about going, but I ended up going and it turned out to be pretty fun! When I went, I was thinking about Valentines Day. Now, I really don't celebrate it, but you know before I become a priest, I must enjoy at least one year of High School- but I doubt that.

Ok, so as I said Campus Life was fun, I'm glad I went, and for the girl that I liked, well turns out she supposively has a boyfriend now, so I could care less. O well. Tomorrow is Tuesday- already- and yes, the weekend is almost here! Ok so today also marks half of the month, 14 more days and it is Spring. Plus I have been bloggin for one year now. One year of ups and downs, One year of insults and hate, one year of fun and excitement. I kinda want to delete my blog, but I don't because I enjoy looking back here for the adventures I had the past year!

Have A Great Day!

Oh For the Love of High School!

WELCOME!

So, today has been a very good day. I was kinda ticked about not going to Dairy practice today, but ill go on Thursday instead. School was kinda fun, but then again kinda boring. It has been such a long Tuesday, but tomorrow marks half of the week already! Can you believe it? Spring Break is almost here! So I titled it "Oh for the love of high school" because like a couple of posts ago, I posted about my first semester schedule. Now im going to post my second semester.

Period 1- Algebra- what a good way to start my day. This is one of my hard classes, but im glad its in the morning instead of the afternoon.
Period 2- World Languages- after coming from math, it's good to be able to sit down and work on some Latin for a whole class period.
Period 3- Business Foundation- the first time I have Mrs. Walker in the day. The class isn't that bad, i'm just annoyed that Dylan doesn't do his work in their!
Period 4- Math Lab- Mrs. Shane's class is so fun! I'm in their with Kris, Kevin, Kalinda, Brooke, and Austin. I would list all but that will take me forever! Anyways, that class is really not hard at all. But I will it would jsut count on the GPA grading scale.
Period 5- English 9- as Brady calls it "This class is a joke!" I would agree, we do absolutely, NOTHING! which i'm kinda scared because if she needs to start teaching so I can pass the ECA and go to to Tatman's or Minch's next year!
Period 6- Biology- the second hardest class of the day. I rarely talk in that class, it's because I have people in their who hate me, so I just keep my mouth shut for a whole 45 minutes.
Period 7- Computer Apps- the second time I have Mrs. Walker in the day. This class is kinda harder than 3rd period, and it is also bigger than third period!

So, that is my schedule for this semester. We only have a couple of weeks left until the last day of school. Im kind of disappointed, but then again happy. I mean really-this year has flew!

And The Winners Are:

31- to- 25

WELCOME!

So I didn't post for yesterday because I was so busy getting things ready for the Superbowl! I have to say, last night was a very intense game! The last minute I was freaking out, because the Steelers could have made another touchdown, but they didn't! So yeah. I myself is not a Football Fan, but I only sided with the Packers because
- thats where I bet at
- i wanted to see the Steelers lose
- i didn't want the Steelers to win
But they lost anyways. :- )

So around 2pm we got ready for the big game as a family. WE got the house cleaned, lunch was finished. The dips and chips were ready, the wings were barbecued, the Mt. Dew was in the fridge, the bet was placed, oh yeah all we needed now was for the game to start. The game didn't start as we expected. No one expected Christina Aguillera messed up the National Anthem, I mean really who messes up the National Anthem??! Then the game started, no backing up on the bets now. It was an intense game!

Then the commercials came on, they were hillarious! I would say they were worth the million of dollars that was used to pay for it. I liked the Darth Vader, the dog and the Doritos and the Kim Kardashian one. ;)

So then the game was over, I got my money, cleaned up and stayed up to do Biology assignment. I did kinda watch Glee but it got boring after the first 15 minutes. I stayed up until 1am doing homework and woke up at 6am and drank 4 cups, yes 4 cups of coffee!

More Snow?!? More Plowing?!?

WELCOME!

So today has been snowing non stop! Not even kidding! I spent most of the day plowing our driveway and sidewalk. Earlier today someone's car got stuck in front of our house and neighbors took about 20 minutes to help out. But in the end they got the car out of the ditch.

So, mom and dad were gone most of the day, Faith was at ISSMA from 8:30am til like noon. So Michelle and I stayed home, cleaning, doing laundry, washing dishes, and watching television.

Here was me earlier, before dad and mom left, getting rid of the snow in the window.

So, when I was washing the dishes, I took a pic of this. It's our backyard and a little gate fence seperates it. I sticked a yardstick in their and it was half way!

Here is our porch. I was standing in the dining room when I took a pic of this because I was watching Young and the Restless!

-----------------------------------------------------------

So, today is the 5th, yes the 5th day of Black History Month. Today's famous African American is:

Dr. Martin Luther King

- born in Atlanta, Georgia
- graduated HS at age 15
- gave the famous "I Have A Dream" speech
- shot in Tennessee

First Friday in February!

WELCOME!

So today is the First Friday in February, which means that tonight is the First Friday/ Saturday overnight Adoration at Saint Sebastians. I have to see if I have a ride first to get their. Anyways, today school was fun! Especially Mrs. Shane's class. I was a bit sad because she wasn't here, but we had a sub Susie! Susie is probably one of the best substitutes ever! She gave us our worksheets, turned on the radio and just started jamming out on the music! Gabbie and Lana joined our class too! Gabbie, Kalinda and Brooke made Kevin blush the whole period and Kris and I just sat their laughing! That class period was probably the best one ever this semester!

That was the highlight of my school day. Today is the First Friday in February. Can you belive it? I can't! I mean really, I feel like that we just got out for Christmas vacation about 8 weeks ago, but now were are counting down to Spring Break! Not by day or weeks, but all I know is that their are less than 2, yes 2 months away until Spring Break! No big plans really, just staying home and planting flowers and going to enjoy the weather! O yes, I'm ready to get rid of this cold, disgusting weather too!

Todays African American is:

So today was another day out of school, which sucks cause then we will have to make it up at the end of the school year. Blah and it takes it out of my vacation time! Anyways, today has been a great day. Woke up 6:30 normal time, cup of coffee, news, and morning prayers. Then it was off to shovel the driveway!

Here is me, making use of my day by going outside. I was suppose to be shoveling but instead I was making a little chair thingy. Shh mom doesn't have to know. :-)

Then about 45 minutes ago, a guy with a couple of his friends who works with my dad, came to plow our driveway. (dad knew i needed help!!)

After they were done, this is how our driveway looks like!

Well goodness gracious! Are you okay Mother Nature? I started out my post with that because it has been snowing like hard and crazy throughout today! It is ridiculous! Their is snow, rain, sleet and wind all mixed in together! So today this is what I did, i plowed, skyped, cleaned and made lunch.

Here is my dad plowing the snow, which he hates doing, but he has too if he wants to get the truck in the garage!!

Here is me, plowing, it was freezing!!
