Maligyang Pasko!

WELCOME

So to start out with todays blog post I just want to say Happy Birthday Jesus! Without you we wouldn't be saved, we wouldn't have heaven, we wouldn't have Christmas, and specially we won't be here right now. Now with that said, I wil list all that I did.

So we started cooking for nucho buena- its a dinner thats usually ate after Midnight Mass around 12 or so. So my mom and I started cooking out lunch time, cause if we started late we wouldn't have time in the end to take a break. We got everything cooked by 7:30pm. It was a lot of work but it paid off.

Then, we were suppose to have nuchobuena around 9pm, but it didn't happen cause we left around 9:30 to be at church by 10 for the Christmas Eve Mass. So at the Mass I was the thurifer (the person who was in charge of the incense) and my sisters were the angel for the pageant. The Mass was very beautiful and hearthwarming, I mean realy the choir sang beautifully, everyone was very attentive and part of it was in Latin!

Then after Mass, we got home around 1am. We then took pics, and ate nucho buena. We had ham, desert, goat, and more desert! Then it was time to open presents! I was pretty psyched! We all got 3 presents each. I got a Polo Ralph Lauren polo shirt from my mom and dad, along with a cell phone- (which i cant text yet cause mom said that she has to wait til the contract ends at summer), a new Polo Ralph Lauren watch. They know I love Ralph Lauren! From Michelle I got a polo and tie - which i have been asking for, and it was purple! From Faith I got an Aeropostle polo. Boy- it was pretty exciting if you ask me!

Then we left cookies and milk for Santa. We went to bed at around 3am and woke up around 10am! When we woke up we immediately went downstairs and checked on our stockings! I got a Kangol Hat from Santa! Thanks Santy Clause :). My sisters got a bunch of cool stuff too. Then we ate lunch aka leftovers from last night, and then we just hung out as a family that whole night.

Then around 5pm we went to Aunt Melanie's house. She isn't really an aunt, but she ist he only filipino around thats close to us, plus we all go to the same church so it's all good. At her house we had noodles, rice, ham and desert! It was good, then we hung out for a couple more minutes and got ready to leave. Once we got home it was about 10pm. We got home, we watched tv and got ready for bed cause we had church the following day. So that was a recap of my day. It was a very very Blessed Christmas filled with joy and laughter!

Have A Blessed Merry Christmas Everyone!

"Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people"

WELCOME!

"In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirini-us was governor of Syria. And all went to be enrolled, each to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with Child. And while they were there, the time came for her to be delivered. And she gave birth to her first-born Son and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

And in that region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, "Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people; for to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a babe wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger." And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased!"

- Luke 2: 1-14

Merry Christmas!

1 More Week!

WELCOME!

So today marks one more week til Christmas! How exciting! The house is all ready to welcome the Lord! The tree is trimmed, the lights are put up, the manger scene is put up, the garlands are hung, the candles are lit. Yes- it is Christmastime again! This Christmas I wish for nothing more than World Peace. I mean really in the Middle East it is greatly needed. I pray for World Peace everyday, along with a couple more wishes, because it is greatly needed!

So today has been a very relaxful Sunday. Started out the day by going to church. After church we stayed and helped decorated for it. There was about 5 huge trees, 10 wreaths and garlands and many candles. (will post pick on Friday) All that decorationg won't get done today, but that's ok because a lot of people are helping throughout the week so Father Dave doesn't have to do it all by himself.

After that we got home and got ready for lunch. After lunch, we got a lot of house cleaning done. Mom told us that getting the house cleaned is important specially when Christmas is less than a week away after tonight! After cleaning I got to studying. Yes- it is shocking that I studied on a Sunday afternoon, but I did because finals is this week! I got my Biology study crib sheet typed and ready. All I have to do is print it out tomorrow and I'm all good.

So what will tomorrow bring? I don't know but I know that classes are long and that I only have two period each day. But what I know is that I am ready for Wednesday because that is when Christmas break will begin! I am so excited! Excited for the food, for the family getting together, for going to church late at night, for opening presents, and most of all for the coming of Christ!

Have A Good Day!

Thank You-- Mother Nature!

WELCOME!

Today has probably been a great start to my week! First of all we got about 4 inches of snow and it caused us to have a delay. I was kinda expecting to go to the Finance Park field trip cause we got to get out of school and it was our only field trip, and I was actually looking forward to it. Turns out i was wrong!

The two hour delay we had today caused such a big problem. For starters class was only about 35 mins long which didn't give me enough time to get all my homework done. Plus after lunch I told myself this is going to be a long day! The good thing about it is that we got lunch after 1st period and we didn't have to do anything too much today in classes because the teachers didn't have anything planned out for us (since we were suppose to go on a field trip).

Anyways after school I got home, plowed the driveway and got 10 bucks! The only bad thing about the snow is that it causes us to have cancelations which means more days are added up at the end of the school year and that means less vacation time! Plus another bad thing is that you don't get to hang out with your friends that much cause it is too freaking cold outside!

Hope You Had A Great Day!

"All he does is make up a bunch of crap"

WELCOME!

Well the title for this blogpost I wouldn't really consider a title, but we will use that. Anyways, I myself I haven't feeling good lately. Too much pointless crap stresses me sometimes and I just can't take it. I'm too tired and stressed to make this a long post. I don't know if this is really a blog post or not, but I will just say it is.

Have A Great Day!

School Days......

WELCOME!

Today's topic is going to be about school. I haven't talked about school since last year. I was meaning to make this my blog post earlier but I keep getting different ideas. So about school. This year i started my Freshman year which is a good thing. My schedule is pretty easy and flexible.

Period 1- World Languages- I am taking Latin, I chose Latin because it will help me when I am in college.
Period 2- Drawing I- I took this class because some of my friends said I am a really good drawer so hey, why not?
Period 3- Phys. Ed- Gym class isn't that bad this year. I'm in their with some of my friends like Maddie, Enos, Beachey, Ashleigh and Lathan. So far gym this year is going pretty well.
Period 4- Biology I- Well let's see, Mr. Roby isn't sexist like what other students say he is. He's pretty cool, so we'll se how the year turns out.
Period 5- English- Mrs. Sheets I have her again this year. It's not that bad because it's an easy class, I mean we do absolutely nothing. Which isn't a good thing cause they said Miss Monticue gets you ready for Tatman's next year.
Period 6- Career Planning- This class is a graduation requirement so I have to take it. I'm thankful that we don't have Mrs. Clott, cause I heard she was a real grinch!
Period 7- Algebra- Oh Mrs. Miller, the first time i stepped foot in that class I thought she was going to hate me, turns out I was wrong. She is hillarious! I mean really she is, like she told me to stay away from her daughters, she said I should be her Stardust date, o my, I love it! and today we got to eat dirt pudding, which was great!

So yeah those are my classes. Their not that bad, I'm hoping to take AP classes in the near future, so we'll see how that turns out to be!

Have A Great Day!

Snow place like home! :)

WELCOME!

So today started out as a great day. I woke up and got ready for school. This wasn't an ordinary day tho. Today was the first day of the last month of the year. It was 1st of December!, and today it actually snowed! So i was psyched for school! Any ways. What have I been up to lately? Well, I'm doing well in school now, no more "F's", plus less drama in my life so it's all good, oh did I mention I'm feeling all happy about December. You know why?- you're right! Cause Christmas is coming up! I got all the house decorations up, the lights and the tree up, the only thing left is the presents under the tree this year! Oh yes, it's about that time of year again. Where the grass is covered with white blankets of snow, where you here kids playing out in the cold weather, where you go home after school and drink hot chocolate and enjoy sitting out in front of the fireplace watching your fav. show! There is now place like home! O yeah- I love holidays like this! I hope it keeps snowing more towards Christmas. Who knows-- maybe a white Christmas this year?

Hope You Had A Great Day!

Stay Warm!
