Christ, Our Savior, Is Risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!

MABUHAY!

Here is a little Easter Message to all of my readers that I wrote after the Easter Vigil Mass a little while ago.

May you and your family have a blessed Easter Season and may the Risen Christ be with you all the days of your lives. Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad! According to the Gospel of Saint John, Mary the Mother of James and Mary Magdalene visited the tomb to find that Jesus is not there. The angel appeared before them and told them that Jesus had risen from the dead. In this holy day, we reflect back on the reason why Jesus had died- he died for our sins. Now that he is resurrected from the dead, he has broken the chains of sin that are attached to us, so that we may be free.

The resurrection from the dead; and Mary and Mary Magdalene visiting the tomb represents that Jesus really is the son of the God, the Messiah. Since Jesus rose from the dead, Satan is defeated. All of our debts and sins have been paid for and we should take the time and thanking the Lord for his suffering and death. The resurrection should be a happy time for each and every one of us. Without Christ dying who would save us? The Resurrection is the most profound miracle that the Lord has given us. For through his resurrection we may be resurrected from the dead and judge on the last day. We should always have that space in our hearts and minds for Jesus- the resurrected savior for it is through him, that we go to heaven, through him we see the Father, through him we meet the Saints, and through him we are saved.
God has adopted us as his son or daughter.

Let us all Thank God for this most wonderful privilege. If you had met the risen Christ you would certainly know it. If you haven’t yet met the risen Christ, roll away the stone and meet Jesus. Since you have been brought back to true life with Christ, you must look for the things that are in heaven, where Christ is, sitting at God’s right hand. Let our thoughts be on heavenly things, not on things that are on the earth, because we have died and now the life we have is hidden with Christ in God.

So today, let the bells of the world ring, let the Gospel be proclaimed in every nation, let us all joyfully sing Alleluia! We are the Easter People and Alleluia is our song!

May You And Your Family Have A Blessed Easter Season!
